I consider myself a pretty content woman. I have things I want, but I'm decently good at waiting for them to come my way in good time. It's always been incredibly important to me to value the right things in life, and I know that perfection in my home, in my body, or in my parenting just isn't something I'm interested in pursuing.
Yes, I want the quality to be there, but perfection can go hop out a window.
Before launching the blog, we knew we needed to get to know the social media platforms we were unfamiliar with one at a time. Cue two weeks of constant anxiety as I navigated the terrible, horrible, wonderful, creative place that is Instagram.
We are a family living in a quirky-charming home on a handful of acres in Southern Wisconsin. We are on a 15 year plan to renovate our home slowly, working out of my prairie-side photography studio (Reverie Photography), homeschooling our boys, and finding ways to feed us around my son's endless list of food allergies. We tend to take life, break some rules, and live how we want...having an exhausting but magical time together. Reverie Home Collective is a space for all of us, but mainly me, to share our experiences - from the helpful to the embarrassing - with you all. Thanks for joining us here and thanks for putting up with my ironic ability to overshare about our introverted existence!
